The fact that Kerry never made any trips in to Cambodia during his tenure in Vietnam is something that most Democrats able to see beyond their partisanship have accepted. Apparently, somebody forget to send DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe the memo.

During an interview at the Republican National Convention Mr. McAuliffe claimed that Kerry went to Cambodia not only once, but twice.

Blogs for Bush has the audio recording of the interview and Powerline has it on video.

After claiming that Kerry was in Cambodia, Chairman McAuliffe went on to criticize President Bush's military record. Now, since Kerry has made it clear that he does not like it when the service records of veterans who were honorably discharged are criticized, one has to wonder if he will condemn McAuliffe's attack on Bush's military record.

My guess is no. More than likely he'll just ignore it.
