AUGUSTA -- The Maine Human Rights Commission has agreed that a former Skowhegan man was subjected to sexual harassment during visits to an adult book and video store.
In its split Aug. 8 ruling, the Human Rights Commission sided with the claims of Raymond Clark, now living in Portland.
Clark said he was subjected to unwelcome sexual advances and comments by a clerk at 1st Amendment Book and Video, while it was operating on Water Street in Skowhegan. . . .
In his filing, Clark said that clerk Carlton Larrabee harassed him.
"I was a regular customer at FABV," Clark said. "I was subjected to constant sexual harassment and sexual advances by one of the gay male clerks at the store, Carlton Larrabee. I found his actions to be totally unwelcome and offensive."
I thought the reason people went to porn shops was because they couldn't find anyone to sexually harass them.
