Left Trying To Get Rush Limbaugh Thrown Off Armed Forces Radio

Because the left just can’t have the soldiers listening to anyone espousing ideas they haven’t approved of, I guess.

In the past there’s been a lot of controversy about which radio shows should be broadcast on Armed Forces Radio.  Should Air America be on?  Should Rush be on?  Obviously, we all have our biases as do the soldiers themselves...but I wonder why the decisions about who is and is not on Armed Forces Radio should be left to politicians and not the people who actually listen to it?

Seems to me that the military should just round up a list of all the available programming choices, put them on a ballot and let the soldiers themselves pick.  Maybe this could be done every two or three years or something like that.  Then if there’s a controversy about whether or not Rush should be on the radio, or Al Franken or somebody, the decision will be left to the troops themselves.

How can you argue with that?

Of course, liberals will hate that because I’m sure most of the troops would continue to pick people like Rush and Sean Hannity despite all this silly talk about Rush’s “phony soldiers” comments.
