I wish to annouce that I am a proud father of my second son! My wife, Brianna, gave birth to Joshua Thomas on June 29th, 2005! I've been rather busy of late helping to take care of my wife and my firstborn son, Samuel. I know it's hard to tell with this intermediate template Rob has up, but I havn't been posting much of anything, nor have I participated in too many of the comment threads. Birthing a new child is one of those times in life when you get crazy busy and everything else gets kinda pushed aside for another time. It is a great part of life, however.

There is a Psalm, written by King Solomon, that I was read shorty before Joshua was born:

Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them, they will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.

All of you our there that are fathers (and mothers) know that feeling when your son comes into this world. For those of you who are not yet fathers, just know that it is indeed a blessing.
