Good:

WASHINGTON (AP) - Job creation picked up in September and workers’ wages grew solidly, easing fears that the country was headed for recession. The unemployment rate edged up to 4.7 percent as more people resumed their job search.

The new job market snapshot released by the Labor Department on Friday showed that employers boosted payrolls by 110,000, the most in one month since last May. In an encouraging note, the economy actually added 89,000 jobs in August. That marked an improvement from the net loss of 4,000 that the government first estimated.

Wow, it looks to me that the official employment numbers climbed 200,000 today when you count the revision from the August numbers.

I’m sure this is putting the Democrat partisans in a tizzy.  They can’t stand good news.  I think it was Wednesday when the radio news gal said that the stock market dropped because investors were concerned about the the jobs report coming out today.  I’m sure she’ll make the correction, won’t she?
