According to fan websites, vigils are scheduled in cities across the US and in 13 other countries on Saturday.

The shows of support come amid suggestions from Jackson's family and supporters that the charges are politically and racially motivated.

Don't you actually have to be of a certain race in order to be a victim of racism? Or involved in politics to be the victim of a political attack? I don't think Jackson is involved with politics, does anybody know if he's a member of NAMBLA?

All kidding aside, the accusations of race were inevitable. It seems that every time there is an investigation involving a minority somebody has to drag out the race issue. Does anybody really think that Michael Jackson is being accused of child molestation for any reason other than his admitted hanky-panky with little boys?

I think Nick summed up my feelings quite well:

When did this nation start tearing apart our President who is trying to fight terrorism, and start embracing men accused of child molestation? I'm going to be sick.

Me too, Nick. Me too.
