Not sure how many of you have caught their new (and first) album, but Jack White's side-project band The Raconteurs rock.

The album is called Broken Boy Soldiers, and there ain't a bad song on it.

If I had a complaint I'd say that it's too short. The length of the whole thing (10 songs) is only 33.6 minutes, and a couple of the songs ("Call It A Day" especially sounds like it should reach a kick ass chorus/guitar solo at some point but never does), but that's just some mild criticism.

All told this album is more arena-rocky than anything Jack White has done on White Stripes albums, and it's a pleasant departure.

I highly recommend it.
