That’s what Drudge is reporting.

Personally, I don’t think this pattern of deception makes Iran any less dangerous.  Sure they’re exaggerating their military capacity, but if they’re willing to engage in this level of deception why would we believe what they tell us during the course of the sort of diplomacy Barack Obama is planning?  What if they told us that they’d halt nuclear production?  Or that they’re not sponsoring international terrorism?

Are we really going to take their word for it?

Diplomacy is all well and good, but it requires trust and cooperation from both sides.  It’s clear that the Iranian state can’t be trusted, and that makes them terribly dangerous.  Much more dangerous than Obama realizes, I think, which is exactly why he’s a poor choice to lead this country.
