How dare Google disrespect the memory of the tragedy and suffering the Katrina VictimsTM went through by replacing the satellite imagery of flooded New Orleans in their map system with satellite imagery that is actually usable to people trying to use Google Maps as the sort of navigation and location tool it was intended to be!
Because it’s not like Google has made that sort of Katrina imagery available to internet users anywhere else on their vast, insidious network of websites.
I, for one, am so glad my tax dollars are being spent on this important mission for respect and dignity. Because goodness knows that if we can’t find the Katrina flood waters on Google Maps we might forget that the hurricane ever happened and not be so willing to send billions upon billions of our tax dollars down to New Orleans after the hundreds of billions of dollars we’ve already sent so that the Katrina VictimsTM can live in a permanent state of subsidized victimhood for decades to come.
