I just arrived at the Fargo Holiday Inn where the 2008 NDGOP state convention will be held.  I got my family checked into our hotel room, and then in an email from a reader found this picture of former North Dakota Governor and current US Ag Secretary Ed Schafer:

Our Ed has come a long way, hasn’t he?  I look forward to hearing him address the convention this weekend.
