These days he’s letting far-left liberal activists engage in their gay witch hunts on his show.

Mike Rogers, who calls himself “the nation’s leading gay activist blogger” has just finished a nationally-broadcast interview on the Ed Schultz Radio Show in which he alleges that Idaho Republican Senator Larry Craig has engaged in same-sex sexual activity.

Senator Craig’s office flatly rejected the claims. “The Senator says this story is absolutely ridiculous – almost laughable,” said press secretary Sid Smith. “It has no basis in fact.”

Rogers said he has talked to three men unknown to each other who all reported in detail their sexual encounters with Craig over the last four years. The men were of legal age, Rogers said.

So what if Sen. Craig is gay?  Don’t Democrats like homosexuals?  I think they do.  It’s those homosexuals who don’t toe the far-left liberal line that they hate.  Something which justifies these McCarthy-like gay witch hunts, naturally.  Because all liberals know that you don’t have to be culturally sensitive to people who you don’t agree with politically.

Hypocrites.

You know, Rogers might be getting more out of this if Republicans actually hated homosexuals as much as liberals think they do.

Update: Redstate is calling this “criminal extortion” and notes that Schultz’s show, which was the forum for Rogers’ outing, is heavily funded by Democrats.
