Right, Senator Durbin. The violence in your state is not caused by the people Illinois who decide to engage in violence but rather all those nasty guns they're getting from Mississippi. Because if we zapped all those guns in Mississippi out of existence nobody in Illinois would ever have to suffer from violence again.
Because its not the violent assholes who are wielding the guns that are the problem, but rather the very guns themselves.
