No link to a news site yet, but found this at Free Republic (via Ace).

Just breaking...in a govt.building in D.C. mass casulties....everyone is very sick...breaking

Lets hope its something minor and that this report is wrong. I'll post more when its available.

Update:

From Drudge (via Chuck below):

Authorities now believe it was pepper spray that affected several people in a downtown Washington D.C. office building this afternoon.

Commander Cathy Lenier of the Metropolitan Police Department says between 20 and 30 people are being treated for eye irritations. Lenier says a group of kids apparently released the pepper spray into a shopping area inside the building at 19th and "I" streets, Northwest.

D-C Fire and E-M-S spokesman Alan Etter says this a triage area is being set up at nearby Murrow Park.

Portions of "I" and 19th streets are shut in the area, where some two-dozen emergency vehicles are situated.

Not sure where the Free Republic poster got his "mass casualties" statement from, but they're claiming it was reported that way by Linda Vester on Fox.

Update:

WASHINGTON - Between 20 and 30 people were treated for eye irritations Wednesday after pepper spray was released into the shopping area of a downtown office building, police said.

Police Commander Cathy Lenier said a group of kids apparently released the pepper spray inside the building at 19th and I streets.

Authorities blocked off the area and several ambulances were summoned.

An FBI official said the incident was apparently the work of teenagers and didn't involve terrorism.

Lets be thankful for that.
