Again.

Which, again, begs the question: Who is ultimately responsible for raising our children?  Parents, or the state?  The line is getting blurrier all the time.  A court in California has ruled that parents can’t home school their children, and Indiana has a law in the work that would make volunteering at your child’s school mandatory.

The irony of making volunteering something that is mandatory is apparently lost on some in Indiana.

But that aside, does anyone really believe that we can legislate good parenting?  Or that the state is capable of making parenting decisions better than parents?

Freedom means choice, and while not all parents make good choices taking away their ability to make choices robs them of their freedom.
