New York Daily News - The Fox News Channel personality, host of the top-rated "O'Reilly Factor," occasionally gets mentioned as a possible Republican opponent to Sen. Hillary Clinton - and the speculation usually goes no further.
But I'm told that in recent days, O'Reilly, a registered independent, has confided to friends that he's seriously considering a run.
Its also been rumored that he's thought of backing John Kerry in order to appear more moderate should he decide to run. That's a pretty crummy reason for backing a candidate, but its also been rumored that he's backing Bush so take it all with a grain of salt.
