Stupid, vile and insulting but ultimately not surprising coming from the mouth of a creep like Maher.

What’s particularly revolting about this is that Maher would likely scream bloody murder if someone were to, say, suggest assassinating Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.  “What right would we have to do that?” he’d likely ask.

Just to use this to illustrate the way the media is biased, however, Ann Coulter’s recent bit of stupidity has resulted in about a hundred news stories per Google News.  The comments from Maher, who is no less an icon on the left than Coulter is on the right, about being sorry the assassination attempt on Cheney failed?  Not one story, except for Newsbusters.

However nasty Coulter’s comments were, and I agree that they were needlessly nasty and pointless, Maher’s comments were much worse.  So, lefties and media types, where’s the outrage?
