...now Nancy Pelosi is being chauffeured in a Chevy Tahoe.  And where is she being chauffeured to?

A global warming hearing, naturally.

Tomorrow morning, Speaker Nancy Pelosi will step out of her Georgetown home and into a government-owned black Chevy Tahoe sport-utility vehicle.

That gas-guzzling truck will take her directly to the Rayburn House Office Building – where she will be the lead witness on a global warming hearing held by Science and Technology Committee.

The Tahoe emits 11 tons of greenhouse gases per year, according to U.S. Department of Energy. The agency ranks it as “one of the worst” vehicles on the road, according to http://www.fueleconomy.gov, a non-partisan government web site.

Many models of the Chevy Tahoe are unavailable in Rep. Pelosi’s home state because the vehicle fails to meet California’s strict fuel-economy and environmental standards.

Reminds me of Al Gore getting nominated for the Nobel Peace prize for all his hard work in jetting around the world in his private, polluting airplane to tell us about global warming.  And the time Ariana Huffington attended a Sierra Club meeting...in a big GMC Yukon.  And the time John Kerry sent out Christmas cards to 75,000 of his closest friends, complete with instructions on how to recycle the card.  Or the time the Sierra Club ran ads on billboards mounted on the back of big, gas-guzzling trucks.

These limousine liberals are so hilarious.  They all want us to embrace all these restrictions on the vehicles we drive and the way we live our lives, but not one of them are willing to give up their private jets or their big, comfy, chauffeured limos or SUV’s.
