On channel 775 of my Dish Network TV service you watch Melody Arabia. This is modern Arabian music 24/7. Sort of VH1. Less than MTV. But very good.

It’s not what you think. This is not women in Burkas and Men with AK 47’s shooting in the air while warbling. It’s surprising.

Of course it’s all Arab. Lots of drums and singing I don’t understand. So, I turn off the sound.

It’s the imagery. The Women are spectacular. Not just pretty. Spectacular. With all the womanly attributes you can imagine.

Very. Sexy. Stuff.

Not in a Brittany Spears kind of way. Not over the top Jessica Simpson (not that there’s anything wrong with that).

They wear clothes. Kinda. This isn’t what I imagined the Islamic Republics to be. It baffles me. It baffled the Jerusalem Post. I’ll bet the Mullahs never counted on this “below the belt” attack. Innuendo intended.

Text messages come in from Iraq, Iran, Gaza, Kuwait, Egypt. Love notes.

It’s addictive. If you get a chance to see this, tune in. You won’t be disappointed. Oh and for you other gendered, I guess you would consider the men fine too.

My idea of why this might save the Middle East: if I were a twenty something would-be suicide bomber maybe I rethink the whole deal looking at these fine women. Or, maybe they think that if they blow themselves up in a car bomb there are 72 just like these waiting on the other side for them.
