For those of you in the Valley City and Jamestown areas there are Americans for Prosperity meetings in your area.

In Valley City there is a meeting at 1:30pm at the Valley City Fire Hall at 241 3rd Ave NE.

In Jamestown there is a meeting at 6:00pm at the Law Enforcement Center at 205 6th Street SE.

As I noted previously, these meetings are being held to bring the public together to talk about what should be done with North Dakota’s massive budget surplus.  The surplus is a good thing, but we citizens need to encourage our government to approach the issue with fiscal responsibility and restraint in mind.
