I don’t generally use profanity when I write and I’m doing my best not to do so this time, despite the expressiveness that it would bring to the subject. I’ll just settle for saying that these people are subhuman, murdering animals:
Karachi, 27 Dec. (AKI) - (by Syed Saleem Shahzad) - A spokesperson for the al-Qaeda terrorist network has claimed responsibility for the death on Thursday of former Pakistani prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
“We terminated the most precious American asset which vowed to defeat [the] mujahadeen,” Al-Qaeda’s commander and main spokesperson Mustafa Abu Al-Yazid told Adnkronos International (AKI) in a phone call from an unknown location, speaking in faltering English. Al-Yazid is the main al-Qaeda commander in Afghanistan.
It is believed that the decision to kill Bhutto, who is the leader of the opposition Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), was made by al-Qaeda No. 2, the Egyptian doctor, Ayman al-Zawahiri in October.
Death squads were allegedly constituted for the mission and ultimately one cell comprising a defunct Lashkar-i-Jhangvi’s Punjabi volunteer succeeded in killing Bhutto.
Proud of themselves, aren’t they?
I hope that they have stumbled across the rule of unintended consequense with this. Their own brutality has led to their near demise in Iraq when the people turned on them. Perhaps the Pakistani people will realize that Al-Qaeda and their cockroaches in arms, the Taliban, are not their friends after all and will turn on them the way the Iraqis have.
Wishful thinking, perhaps, but it is possible.
Another point - what just happened was more than murdering a great woman. It was blatant interference in the internal Pakistani elections by what amounts to a foreign terrorist entity. I hope they see that and exterminate those animals like the vermin they are.
