You know what I love best about winter? When you go to a drive-through restaurant and you realize when you pull up to the intercom that it is so cold out your window has frozen in place and won't roll down.
This inevitably happens when there is a line of impatient, hungry people behind you and a line of people who have already ordered in front of you. Since you can hardly pull away the only solution is to open your door as much as you can without hitting the intercom, squeeze your bulky frame out through the space provided and proceed to use your pocketknife to chip the ice away from the window so that it will roll down. All while suffering the indignity of honked horns and shouted sarcasm from the cars behind you.
Any of you out there feelin' me on this one? Because I'm not sure it would really be winter without this happening at least once or twice.
A Seasonal Delight
