
Four years ago we promised that we'd never forget.

But now time has passed. Wounds have healed, memories have faded.

Too many have forgotten. We've become jaded to the images and memories of that day.

Today take a moment to pick the scabs on those old wounds and let them bleed once again. Feel the pain again. Remember one more time what the consequences are for failing to recognize who our enemies are and remain vigilant against them.
Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.
