Announcement:

It has been 43 days since John Kerry sat down for an interview with a major media journalist had a press conference.

Remember that Kerry had this to say a while back:

"I have pledged that I am going to have a press conference at least once a month to talk to the nation about what I'm doing because I don't have anything to hide," Kerry said during a campaign stop in Beloit, Wis., after the Democratic National Convention. "I want America to know what I'm doing. I want you to know what I'm fighting for. I want you to ask me questions."

Either he was laying or he really does have things to hide.

Update:

Whoops. I was stating that Kerry hadn't had an interview with a major press journalist in 43 days. What I should have said was that Kerry hasn't had a press conference in 43 days. Like he promised he would.
