Fargo Forum - Fifteen soldiers from the North Dakota National Guard’s B Company 141st Engineer Combat Battalion have been awarded Bronze Stars. The soldiers were recognized for their actions and duties while serving in Iraq for a year.

The honored soldiers are Staff Sgt. Mark Hetletvedt, retired Staff Sgt. Mark Chapin, both Jamestown; Sgt. 1st Class Roger Nelson, Cooperstown; Spc. Charles Gorecki, Capt. Cory Melland, both Grand Forks; Sgt. Timothy Linn, 1st Sgt. Donald Kasper, both Devils Lake; Spc. Keith Geigle, West Fargo; 1st Lt. Cory Bohne, Capt. Grant Wilz, Sgt. 1st Class Shayne Beckert, Staff Sgt. Brian Beckert, all Bismarck; Sgt. Justin Fisher, Fargo; Sgt. 1st Class Robert Lawson, Sawyer; and Sgt. 1st Class Bradley Kitzmann, Leeds.
