“Your Acquaintances Speak To Your Judgment And Character”

Yes, absolutely boob. McCain’s association with Keating is a valid criticism of him.
But that happened 17 years ago. McCain was investigated and exonerated of anything explicitly illegal. He personally apologized for wrong-doing, and used the event to change the direction of his political career.
Obama, on the other hand, lies about the extent of his connections to William Ayers. And he spins his 20 year relationship with Rev. Wright. And he hasn’t apologized for either relationship.
See the difference?

If that had any validity, McCain would have brought it up last night on a nationally televised town hall debate where millions of people could have heard it.
He didn’t.
Sarah will later today somewhere surrounded by rabid fans out of the view of most of Americans who just aren’t as involved as your readers are.
It’s a smear. It’s a gimmick. Plain and simple.
You have said you’re not voting McCain/Palin, are you voting for anyone? Why aren’t you using your internets power to actually support someone?

See the difference?
I believe that difference is what is commonly referred to as character.
Its kinda like when McCain used his nomination acceptance speech with an audience of over 50 million Americans to publicly apologize for giving in to his torturers when he was a POW in North Vietnam. Obama, by comparison, simply denies or disavows the embarrassments from his brief past, and MovesOn.
There is much about McCain for conservatives to be uneasy about. But his character and his devotion to this country are, unlike Mr Obama’s, above reproach.

Validity. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think!
Just because McCain leaves a line of attack to his surrogates (or the MSM, if they would ever do their job in covering the story), doesn’t negate its validity.

You want to talk about “negated validity”, post a few more meaningless pictures in lieu of argument, and we’ll talk!

It’s valid. McCain’s just not a very good candidate.
