I have one question: Are the dems intellectually dihonest or just plain stupid? Seriously, her statement was so insane it made CBS news analysis of the “slow” job rate growth seem like rocket science. Well you can’t blame the dems for wanting the Bush admin to get the unemployment rate down to .000000001 before they give them any credit. Near perfection is the goal after all. When it comes to economics, liberals and most dems just can’t make heads or tails of anything. But they do make-up plenty of stuff to make up for that sad fact.

Didn’t the Dems say the same things in 1992, 2002 and in 2004?  In addition to flat out lying about the economy, they trot out the same rhetoric, year after year (unless their man is in the White House).  Hopefully the American people will see through her lies.  Unfortunately, the MSM won’t call her on it, and will let her lie fester.

It is for these reasons I turned my back on the Democratic Party.

The free lunchers won’t stop until everyone has a job, whether they want one or not!

# Unemployment down to 4.4%.
After Five + yrs, approaching what
he inherited, heckuva job.

# 92,000 new jobs created in October.
Anemic.

# 470,000 new jobs over the last three months.

# Our economy has now added jobs for 38 straight months.
G has been in office for 70 months.

the worst jobs record “S I N C E”

between a particular past time and the present.

After Five + yrs, approaching what
he inherited, heckuva job.

Five years during which the .com bubble popped, we had a major terror attack and two wars.

Yes, heckuva job indeed.

Anemic

Growth.  And wait for the revision.  The last two jobs numbers were revised upwards some 130,000 jobs.

G has been in office for 70 months.

Again: .com bubble.  9/11.  Two wars.

Do you liberals just like to pretend like that stuff didn’t happen?

You know, I think you liberals would get more mileage out of your rhetoric if you quit trying to lie to everyone about the economy and focused on areas where this country really does have problems.

Even if you look at this as the worst economy since the Great Depression Pelosi is still full of it.

The unemployment rate under Bush peaked at 6.4%.  Since the Great Depression unemployment has been higher than that seven times.

The fact that we went through the .com bubble burst, a unprecedented terror attack that completely shut down our country’s air travel and not one but two wars and extremely high energy prices and only hit 6.4% unemployment is a testament to good political leadership.

War is an economic stimulus.
Homeland security jobs, Defense dept spending
creates jobs.
To spend is to tax.

War is an economic stimulus.

Only for a command economic system.

Homeland security jobs, Defense dept spending
creates jobs.

Non-productive jobs.

To spend is to tax.(only for Dems)

Private sector jobs produce wealth; public sector jobs are an expense to the taxpayer.  Big difference.

Rob: The Carter economy was the worst economy since the Great Depression.  Nanci Pelosi lies, as usual.  She has nothing else.

robert108 - 07:11pm on 11/04/2006

Since I have an all time high net worth, more “depression” please, Nancy!
