Mullah, I was going to say the same thing!!!.

Anyhow, I think Geffin does not like her because she’s a skank with fat ankles and she has NO concept of voice amplification when giving a speech. Howzat?.

The Mullah has spoken, now back to the well and wait for the kid crawl out.

It is hard to take sides in this situation. The good thing is that one of the supporters for the Clinton’s comes forward to give his opinion of them and their lying, even if it was about a disgusting pardon for a convicted killer. To the Clinton’s credit, they have managed to keep the people silent that surrounded them over the years. The Rose Law Firm, Webb Hubbell, Janet Reno, Vince Foster… etc..etc…

I’m surprised that the Clintons’ connections to the old time, northeastern mafiosos has not been aired yet… Perhaps someone is saving the dirtier laundry for next week.

Sparkie Arbuckle - 06:02am on 02/23/2007

How ironic would it be if one of the few crooked deals the Clintons didn’t make came back to derail Hillary’s career.

My guess is that Geffen didn’t offer enough cash.  Marc Rich got off for a cool mil.  Maybe Geffen was just too cheap to meet the price.

Peltier, convicted of murder in 1977 for allegedly gunning down a pair of FBI agents

Once someone is convicted, doesn’t the “allegedly” usually go away?  Was the Manson family convicted of allegedly murdering Sharon Tate et al?

Angus McMurphy - 09:02am on 02/23/2007

I’ve never understood why anyone would think Peltier was guilty.  That all went down up in my neck of the woods (or pretty close to here anyway), and while it was before my time I’ve read a lot about it.  There are some irregularities in the state’s evidence, but I’ve never seen enough to convince me that Peltier doesn’t deserve to be where he’s at.

Rob - 09:02am on 02/23/2007

Good point, Rob.  Anyone looking at the case objectively sees that Peltier is indeed guilty.  The ‘irregularities’ of which you speak don’t come close to outweighing the factual evidence.

This is just another instance of the glitterati climbing on a get-out-of-jail bandwagon, a la Patty Hearst, Jack Henry, Robert Stroud, etc.

As for Geffen telling us the Clinton’s are pathological liars--is that supposed to be a newsflash?

Regards…
