it probably has more to do with companies not wanting to advertise on radio shows where hosts crack jokes about assassinating the President (among other nasty examples of political rhetoric).
Dim Comet replied:
Cracking jokes about killing Ramsey Clark, however, is a perfectly acceptable form of political rhetoric.
However, going to the link he provided put us in the middle of a political discussion of Ramsey Clark. NO ONE was making a joke. So Dim’s feeble attempt at sarcasm was defeated by the definition of “cracking jokes”.
Furthermore, the Bush Derangement Syndrome crowd do not merely crack jokes on the radio, but there are a host of Kill Bush movies, plays and tee shirts arraigned on the one side against one solitary comment by an individual commenting on a blog.
Find your moral equivalence there Davey!
I remember a political cartoon with Presidents Washington, Nixon and Carter.
Washington said, “I cannot tell a lie.”
Nixon said, “I cannot tell the truth.”
Carter said, “I cannot tell the difference.”
As a Carter Democrat, you obviously cannot tell the difference between the deranged rantings of those who could not possibly make a case for Bush committing treason (otherwise, they WOULD!) and those who could credibly make the case for Clark doing so.

When I say Ramsey Clarck should be hanged by the neck until dead, I am not using “political rhetoric”. I am stating my opinion as a former member of the US Army and as a citizen of the US.
And the whole Saddam trial farce is not the basis upon which I make this statement.

I have no problem with that either.
