The PEER release doesn’t say anything about a gag rule; it just tells us that the creationist book is still for sale. The Trudeau strip is similar-ish: it considers the sale of the book to be the park not being able to take a stand on the age of the canyon. I thought the PEER release was straight forward, the Trudeau strip maybe slightly misleading. It is interesting to see the urban legend taking form.

Trudeau has long lost any sense of objectivity he ever had. If he leaned any more to the left he’d fall over. And Doonesbury hasn’t been funny in years. It was always politically oriented but at least, at one point, it was funny. It abandoned humour for leftist political commentary disguised as a comic strip years ago.
I don’t even bother to read it anymore

Trudeau hasn’t been funny since he got married to Jane Pauly. That would suck the humor out of anyone.

JPE, the jerks at PEER changed their press release. This is the one I read (via Google Cache).
Dishonest schmucks.

Here’s a pretty substantial from a web site that initially accepted the PEER press release:
I believe we were duped by an activist group who at the very least exaggerated a claim and published it in order to gain notoriety for itself, or worse, simply made it up.

Rob, Will. Thanks for keep their feet to the fire. Certain people think they can play fast and loose with facts and The Truth. I tried to view Doonsbury’s strip, but could not locate it from the link. He has proven to me to be unpatriotic and totally out of touch with our state of war with islamic facists. He tried to focus instead with the worn out Vietnam Veteran’s plight caused by the liberals and social democrats in the 60s and 1973. Liberals=liars
