I’ve always said that government inefficiency was a blessing. Imagine if the government was “good” at running our lives. Everyone would be for it.
A friend of mine has a saying on his IM profile: Be glad we don’t get all the government we pay for.
But somehow I can’t imagine a union meeting being any less painful than burning..... :^)
