It is times such as these that we, the United States, need someone with the vision, the language skill and the leadership of a Winston Churchill. It seems that half of our country’s leadership does not understand that the U.S. has again lived up to our commitment to Freedom for people everywhere. These appeasers have failed to lead--plus they have willfully misled about half our people. The Dem’s will pick a candidate for President out of that bunch? Chamberlain by another name?

Now isn’t that is a cute story.
What would have happened if bushco had listened to the generals who told him he needed more troops BEFORE he invaded a country that did not attack us.

Imagine how much farther we would be along the path of peace in the ME without the undermining and treachery of the Dems/lefties/MSM?
I call for the Dems to come back to America!

It is easy for someone to sit on their fat buttocks after the fact and say ‘if only he had done this or that’ things would be different. The problem is, Bush didn’t have that luxury, he had to decide in real time, measuring the best advice and move forward. All the world’s intelligence agencies were claiming Saddam had WMD’s and there was a nuclear component, plus Saddam’s history of mental instability in gassing the Kurds and invading Kuwaiit. Had they all been right, and I believe future information will support virtually every claim, had Bush not moved and American, British and Jewish lives were lost in the Middle East and gas prices jumped to $5.+ a gallon he would have and should have been impeached.
Then it is a matter of hearing from the military and it is hard to justify Bush listening to the minority of generals clamoring for more troops. It was the same thing with Lincoln in the Civil war, bad advice and many missteps. But, like Lincoln Bush was sure that he did the right thing and he waited for his General Grant - Petraeus. In both cases the right general emerged and we are on a solid path to victory.
You are just mad because like most Democrats you were rooting for our defeat in Iraq. Damn, you must be mad today!

Don’t let your chain mail get all in a bunch there Ivanhoe.
Not ALL the worlds intelligence agencies were claiming what you desperately need to believe.
What did Hans Blix say?
What was Scott Ritter saying?
What was Mohamed ElBaradei saying?
What was written in the Downing Street minutes?
And after bushco ordered the invasion/occupation what was not found?
And to my point, what did General Shinseki say?
realitybasedbob - 11:01am on 01/05/2008
Notice how the leftie has changed the subject from the Dems being wrong about cutting and running from Iraq.
