What Is The Opposite Of “Bush?” Why, California Of Course

The “problems” mentioned are being caused by a socialist style government.  The power crisis exists because government got involved and suppports the current monopolistic model.  “Failing social programs”—who’s in charge of those? Oh ya, government. (By the way giving government funds to faith based charities will not fix “failing social programs” premised upon taking hard earned money from working citizens and giving it away.  What kind of a faith based charity would agree with such an injustice?  Faith based charities have succeeded with free will offerings not tax revenues.  This should encourage government to get out of the way of social reform and let the public handle it.) California’s government has been toying with health care for some time.  You know where that will lead… failure.  Can anyone name a successful government social progam?  Let’s see, Medical-- not if you ask Seniors; Welfare—not if you ask anyone.  Let’s face it, Government is way to big, intrusive, inefficient, and is feeding on the most productive of it’s citizens.  It is the problem, not the solution.

Well said.

I hasten to add that government social programs are intended to do exactly what California is using them to do… provide incentive to submit to the government’s will and consequently vote for the hand that feeds or provide discouragement from speaking out against the government’s programs like the PC Gay and Lesbian movement.

This action is a combination of both and highlights why the government needs to get out of the Socialism business.
