It is just so amusing that Rob was excluded...he is such a douche that he still holds a grudge against tribes.  Let it go Rob.  You are an avowed racist and should be pleased that you are one of the “chosen few” who have been 86’ed...it actually gives you something to whine about.  Thank god my tribal council decided to kick you to the curb with the rest of the white trash.

Kade - 06:02am on 02/20/2008

Ah yes, Rob pointing out the deplorable conditions on the reservations makes him an ‘avowed racist’.

Care to actually, you know, dispute and of the facts that Rob put forth?

Didn’t think so.

Instead, you are far more comfortable in throwing up your defense mechanisms by hypocritically calling him ‘white trash’.

Seems like you are the racist here.

Ken McCracken - 06:02am on 02/20/2008

Heh. Kade still reads and just can’t let it go.

For people who bitch about broken laws and treaties, they sure have no problem breaking them themselves. Hypocrisy, thy name is Turtle Mountain.

For people who yell out “racism!!” every time someone criticizes their inept and corrupt little tribal thiefdoms, they sure have no problem being little racists trotting out all manner of angry vindictive vitriol against “white” people. Hypocrisy, thy name is Turtle Mountain.

These guys continuously need reminded that they reside inside the borders of America. They can’t survive without us. There is no “banishment”. They’re not sovereign.

Maybe if they had better educations, they would understand what sovereignty actually entails. That would require putting down the bottle though and critically using their brains...and let’s face it - that’s not going to happen.

Look at the bright side - these fools are happy that they’re banishing people from their little dangerous ghettos. Oh, how terrible! Like they have anything of value to offer in the first place.

likwidshoe - 07:02am on 02/20/2008

So this person who has been “banished” from the tribe wasn’t really even sure if she HAD been? Also, there is always more to the story and this person is known as being extremely confrontational on many fronts..ie, Forums, Myspace, Blogsites. I think it was probably her attitude in dealing with someone that things escalated. So, in short, why are we feeling bad for her if she left the reservation and wasn’t banished?? She doesn’t even know? It just seems odd. Take things with a grain of salt if you ask me. But it is just IMHO! (ha ha)

So, in short, why are we feeling bad for her if she left the reservation and wasn’t banished?? She doesn’t even know?

She’s probably not sure because the tribe didn’t afford her due process in banishing her.  They certainly didn’t afford me due process when they banished me.  I know I’m banished for sure, but I only know because people on the reservation let me know in an unofficial way (I got emails saying “Did you know you’re banished up here?")

We feel bad for her because this is America, and in America you aren’t denied liberty (including travel onto a reservation) without due process of law.

Maybe you dislike this woman.  That’s your prerogative.  But to discount her banishment as though it were no big deal?

That’s pathetic.

So the guy who thinks I’m “white trash” also accuses me of being an “avowed racist.”

Irony, thy name is Kade.

EVERYTHING that happens to this woman is a BIG DEAL! Maybe we are just tired of hearing about it and maybe you don’t know what even happened?!? She is dramatic in every sense of the word. Obviously, there is more to the story than just them supposedly “banishing” her, which apparently never happened. This person LOVES confrontation, she lives on it, feeds on it, thrives on it. If you do not share her opinion, than you are in for an ass chewing by her. She is a bully on a forum called Siouxsports.com there are people who don’t participate in discussions because she is so demeaning. I don’t know your story and don’t particulary care either but let’s face it, you only care about her story because it gives you ammo to back up your opinion about this tribe and what happened to YOU.

Sounds like there are some people who don’t like JM because of her opinions. I personally have seen her for my health care and can attest that she is nothing if not an excellent health care provider who is conscientious, caring, thorough and honest. The care she has provided me and family members is the best I have ever received. She called me after taking care of me to see how I was doing.  THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE OR SINCE! And before you jump to any conclusions, I am Native American. In reading her statement, it sounds to me like the person who threatened to kill her was possibly a drug seeker who didn’t get what they wanted. IHS has a severe shortage of good health care professionals and they lost one of the best when she left.

To Kade who wrote Thank god my tribal council decided to kick you to the curb with the rest of the white trash.
I don’t know you , or anyone on this site. I don’t anything about your ‘banished situation,” I do know it doesn’t matter what kind of situation anyone might find themselves in, in dealing with a Tribe… you will always encounter their racist and hateful speech. Read again what this “kade” person wrote… “white trash.” THAT IS THE CRUX OF IT FOLKS. That is the TRUE NATURE AND BELIEF of Tribal members - from one side of our shore to another. You will find this hatred of “whites,” and even of other Tribes. Their anger at their own ancestory is why they think it’s their right to take our Federal tax dollars and have no accountability, or to deprive someone of their due process, or civil liberties. It’s why they don’t want to become educated and professional organizations (once educated and informed its much harder to maintain illogical hate).

So Kade continue to spew your hate here and everywher else on this Rob person. I need not know him to understand his rationale thoughts about unequal treatment, lack of due process, and frustration with Tribes not being held accountable for their practices. Don’t fret. The Tribes day of reckoning will come and they will be left alone with their hate. It will be their own faults for not having pulled themselves out of poverty, hatred and alcoholism. Their handouts must end. I can’t wait.

likwidshoe,
I am sure you would chose your words a little more wisely if they were not typed anonymously.  Most comments by you that are “Indian related” are shots at Indians.  I admit that we are not all perfect.  Believe it or not.  But neither are you and “your people”.

“Indians are their own worst enemies.
Drink up, dope up, and die young. They’ve earned their lots in life.”

Last time I seen an episode of Cops, I didn’t see any Indians that were all tweaked out on meth.  But I did see a lot of “White Trash” that was.

Before I forget.  I would like that thank the White man for all of their tax dollars.  Keep it coming.
