There’s no amount of money or regulation that will ever satisfy these liberals.

Their tax policies create lower revenue. Raise taxes.

Their tax policies also throw many out of work. Raise taxes.

Their spending policies create more "need." Raise taxes.

It stays in the wallets, purses and financial accounts of Americans across the country.

While we borrow more and more money from China and Japan to finance the shortfall. That makes a whole load of sense. We’re just livin’ large and chargin’ everything. The bill will have to be paid someday. Any ideas how we might do that professor?

What Broder also fails to mention is that when a significant amount of tax burden is lifted from the backs of Americans federal tax receipts go up..

So eliminate Taxes all together. Receipts shoudl go through the roff, right fellas? wink

I’ve got some news for you here. It might come as a big surprise - - You conservatives own the congress - both houses. You’ve got the White House. You’ve got the judicial branch. You’ve got it all . . . and have had it for 6 years. Congratulations. You can do anything you want - put through any legislation you please - make any tax cuts you like.

Reading on here for the past week or two, you’d think that you guys were the underdogs, beaten and cowering by nasty liberals. It’s just not true.

You can make that Utopia that you know conservatism to be . . . and no one (NO ONE) can stop you. You can make the tax cuts permanent if you want - go ahead. If it’s going to make this country a better place, just go ahead and do it.

Bush has spent 1.6 Billion Dollars in advertising and P.R. in the past 2.5 years and that doesn’t count the 700+ Million spent on his reelection campaign during that same time.

TO CONVINCE WHOM? I mean, let’s be real, you guys have got the chance to install everything you’ve ever dreamt of and roll back or eliminate everything you’ve ever complained about. Well? DO IT! We can’t stop you. We can sit on the other side of the aisle and refuse to stand or applaud during the yearly speech, but other than that, we’ve got nothing. You won’t authorize any investigations, you won’t allow any platform for speech on the floor, you’ll hold the floor vote for as long as it takes to get anything passed, . . . . it’s your dream come true . . . why aren’t you capitalizing?

Why, instead are you bitching about liberals who are powerless? I would think that you’d be out there doing great things for the world.

And, if it works like you imagine, then they’ll be no problem creating a conservative dynasty that other nations will envy and emulate. Right?

DD, I thought you needed our permission . . . for all the whining about liberals on this forum, I thought we were standing in your way.

That’s a separate issue.

Stop spending! What a simple answer.

So eliminate Taxes all together. Receipts shoudl go through the roff, right fellas? wink

Rob forgot to include the Laffer Curve.

Sure, after we get rid of the RINOs first. As it stands right now, we can’t push through our ideas. We’re stuck with yours.

What the hell are you talking about?

No, that is exactly the issue.

It’s like you borrowing money on your credit card to pay your mortgage, while spending your entire paycheck on Cheetos.

Well,..Rob’s point was that the money doesn’t leave the American people; that it stays in the economy. You’re talking about something else.

CV Rick: The only dynasty in American society right now is the leftie MSM. They are desperately trying to silence the blogs and talk radio because both of those threaten their stranglehold on information. The Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch were set against each other to protect the American people from the consolidation of power that is a feature of the parliamentary system. It works. Despite your paranoid fantasies, what you say isn’t actually happening.

Tax cuts are another matter. When JFK cut taxes, revenues increased, ditto Reagan and GW. The logical question is: Why don’t free spending liberals support tax cuts? It would give them more money for social engineering, which doesn’t work, btw. The answer is: They want the power over the people more than they want the money. They want to take your money away, so that they can spend it as they see fit. They don’t trust you to spend your own money. That lust to control you is so strong they would rather have that power than more money, because their "social programs" are really vote-buying schemes. The programs have to grow every year because they don’t solve the problem. They only increase the amount of money the lefties get and the number of civil service union employees on their plantation. Wake up!

Can I attribute your ignorance to your being independently wealthy, or do you budget for your household expenses like the rest of us?

mcair - 11:02am on 02/19/2006

robert, I’m not paranoid.

You’ve got it all and being scared of the media is childish. It’s not as liberal as you’d like to believe.

Anyway . . . why are you bitching about liberals when you conservatives can make anything happen that you like. It’s certainly not liberals standing in the way.
