Why is this guy’s congregation still flocking around him? I don’t get it.
Pilgrim,
Forgive the cliche, but…
It’s a Black thing. You wouldn’t understand it.

Tupac. Yeah, there’s a fine example of humanity. That is, if mysogynistic, foul mouthed, crime promoting gangsters are who you want to look up to, of course.
Oh....and who called this guy a “wonderful young pastor”? Why, the man who could be our nest president, that’s who.
Would that be the very same rookie Senator who wants to ban handguns for law-abiding citizens??? Thought so!
The only conclusion is that BO agrees with his “church’s”
black theology (in a nutshell: “get whitey") which has not changed with a new pastor. He’s between a rock and a hard place: If he repudiates his “church,” he will labeled as an “Uncle Tom” by the large contingent of race hustlers in Chicago and elsewhere and the African- American voting monolith may crack. If he does not, he risks the anger of those “crackers” he insulted in San Francisco. In my opinion, in either case he is unelectable.

Bat,
They should have come spilling out of the exits like in the staterooom scene from A Night At The Opera. One of the funniest scenes in movie history by the way, but I digress…
Who in their right mind would ever label Tupac a prophet, I mean, besides some wannabe street thug with IQ of an armadillo and the morals of a weasel? Those are intelligent adults in that church. They cannot possibly believe that crap.

There’s something fishy goin’ on here!
Haddock!
Haddock!? You gotta haddock? Take two aspirins and call me in the morning!
Believe it? Of course they believe it. If they didn’t Trinity United Church of Christ wouldn’t be nearly so successful and Rev. Wright wouldn’t have a new million dollar manse at his disposal compliments of his former congregation. If they didn’t believe it, they wouldn’t have hired Otis Moss to replace Wright.
And therein lies a huge dilemma for Obama. He must try to convince a significant majority that he doesn’t believe it, or it doesn’t really matter. But if he doesn’t really believe it, why was he there for 20 years in the first place? And if it doesn’t really matter, then what else about the man is simply a cynical facade for the sake of getting elected?
It ain’t easy being Barack Obama. No doubt, his wife will tell him what to say and do.

Per Rev Wright at TUCC.org: “ The vision statement of Trinity United Church of Christ is based upon the systematized liberation theology that started in 1969 with the publication of Dr. James Cone’s book, Black Power and Black Theology.” James Cone: “There is no use for a God who loves white oppressors the same as oppressed blacks. We have had too much of white love, the love that tells blacks to turn the other cheek and go the second mile. What we need is the divine love as expressed in black power, which is the power of blacks to DESTROY THEIR WHITE OPPRESSORS, here and now, by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject God’s love.”

Whitey has become an infidel not only to the moslems but also to the blacks. So much for civil rights equality.
Another thing - Wright and his colleagues are not real Christians but the personification of evil masquerading as Christians.

IF the Dems allow BO to be a candidate for the US Presidency it will show just how inconsiderate they are towards all Americans. He has shown the world what he truly is. He is a Socialist, racist, anti-flag waving smooth talking politician who will promise the world if it will get him elected.

Zsa Zsa,
Just what we don’t need in the midst of a war with radical Islam… a black Jimmy Carter!
