Heh, SOMETHING going right here. Be careful though, stats may be misleading. People are leaving this state by the u-haul truck. I read somewhere that we’ve lost over 3% of our population in the past year.

That may be going up! The governor just tacked an extra .4% unto the state’s income tax. Speculation was that MI would rise from the 14th most heavily taxed state to somewhere in the top ten!

You know she signed that bill right? And that she signed the dove hunting bill? I believe she also signed the concealed weapons permit law.

It stands to reason. As the auto manufacturers continue to bust up the unions, the jobs migrate to the South, so do people. Unfortunately for them they’re going to see big pay cuts.
The UAW isn’t without blame, they’ve got old timer gold-brickers making six figures doing un-skilled labor.
The entire situation is un-maintainable.
The new taxes, hammered out by bi-partisan committees, are luxury taxes. Movies, lift tickets, astrology readings, balloon-o-grams, phrenology, escorts.

Oh the hardships we’ll all have to endure!
Georgia passed a similar act last year. Good summary of this at http://www.atlantainjuryblog.com/archives/cat-wrongful-death.html
Dr Whitebread, what is your point?
