I think when it all comes down after the vote America will not elect this person to office. Her political views and policies will cause her to not get elected.

What the HELL is the deal with OPEN PRIMARIES?
Why do we, as Republicans have to have our nominee decided by kamakazee Dems voting in our Primaries to pick the guy they think they can beat in the Fall?
Dems got to pick McCain in NH, and now (with Obama not even running in Michigan), will get to vote en masse for McCain there.
So whereas Romney carries the conservative vote in NH 3 to 1, he loses to the liberals choice. Now he will win amongst Conservatives AGAIN in Michigan, yet lose to the liberals choice.
Then on to SC where Huckabee can smile and say Jesus and he wins by a mile.
If Michigan was a closed Primary, I would say Romney wins easily. As an open Primary and NO CONTEST on the Dem side, McGrumpy probably wins in a walk.
Bummer. We’ll see.
Who the f*** came up with this OPEN PRIMARY bs anyway?

Socialists is as socialists does. Her negatives are still through the roof, no amount of fake crying will change that.

Bill: You ass-ume that this is the case. It is one possibility. Another possibility was suggested by Lestat, that more votes were counted for Dems than Reps because that particular juggernaut is the unstoppable wave of the future.
Both positions are governed largely by wishful thinking on your part and his.
Another possibility is that: It is what it is. In that particular group of people in NH, they chose according to their preferences and chose who they chose. No conspiracy. No air of inevitability. Just folks exercising their prerogative. Deal with it!

What are you? Six?? Each state makes that decision for themselves. You don’t like the way it is in your state, change it if you can! It is one of the challenges of running a national campaign. If your guy was unaware of it, or unprepared for it, maybe a national job is not what he should be looking for?
BTW, Bill, you sound like a real rube as reality washes in over you. Is there anything else you’d like us to explain to you about the national electoral process so that A) you can’t use it as an excuse after your so called “predictions” wildly miss the mark, and B) you can begin (or at least pretend) to have intelligent discussions with the rest of us?

Three times yesterday--three--I received that chain email with a link to Obambi’s church, where they do everything but drink chicken blood. Now, where to you suppose that originated?
If Hillary doesn’t get the nomination, it will be due to her weasel-like instincitive behavior, which she can’t seem to conceal when things get hot--that, and the pressies aren’t on board (but, they will climb back on for the general election). She’s on the wrong side of most issues, and on both sides on the rest--this doesn’t seem to matter. A transparent, viscious, lying sleazebag--with a better than average shot at the big job--because the R’s don’t have an appropriate response--except for Fred--and his casual approach is not working for him.

Whether that’s true or not.... [shaking head]

Open primaries: In order for a Dem to cast a vote in a Rep primary, they would have to GIVE UP the chance to cast a vote in the Dem primary, because you can only vote in one or the other, which is what makes open primaries work. With the Dem race being so close and every Dem you talk to having a clear preference for some reason or another, I doubt many Dems gave up the ability to vote in their primary to mess with the Rep numbers. Any polls to show otherwise?
