Increased travel times=decrease in overall productivity and reduction of choices in employment.

You still have the choice to accept my challenge, bob. Are you man enough?

Jack - 12:07pm on 07/04/2008

There goes John Warner trying to save us from ourselves again. We do not need this government interference in our lives. Some of the guys where I work have reduced their speeds to 55-65mph from 75mph. Others have bought motorcycles. Let us deal with this problem individually. Those who fail to use common sense conservatism will pay for it with their wallets. That is as it should be.

Bull, we do not need to drive 55 again, you can’t get anywhere because it is too slow to drive.
I don’t think this is a good idea.

Conservation is an individual choice; when big govt mandates it, it’s totalitarianism.

Bob:

You have the choice to accept my challenge. You’re so logical and factual it should be the easiest $200 bucks you ever made!

If the republicans reduced the big govt, made it meet your specifications, and said small govt mandated conservation, what would that be?

I’m sorry you are unable to do logic, e.
Your kneejerk partisanship has apparently warped your mind.

robert108 - 05:07pm on 07/04/2008

So we both agree. In this instance the size of the govt is irrelevant. Your objection is govt mandated conservation.

Any govt is bigger than the individual citizen.  Duh.
