Not to nitpick, but saying “refrigerant Freons” is like saying “soda Coca Colas” - Freon is a brand name. Should have just used the generic “refrigerants” as they are made by many companies under many differnt names.

Sounds like a ploy to get conservatives to acknowledge man-made global warming.

Ronald Wilson Reagan was one of the top three Presidents in U.S. history, and you can rank them 1-3 anyway you want: George Washington; Abraham Lincoln (maybe FDR would make #4 but I have lots of reservations about him); and then Reagan.
To recognize that excess use of refrigerants and spray cans is not good for the environment is not the same things as admitting that there is such a thing as man-made global warming!

Whether or not CFC’s were necessary to ban the leftie’s should love Reagan.

Once again, Ronald Reagan was Right… a fact for which the liberal Left will never forgive him.

Nancy got rid of Secretary of the Interior James Clear Cut Watt
cancellation of a concert on the Mall for her favored Beach Boys was the last straw.
Ron added 10 million acres to the National Wilderness Preservation System.
Good on him and California values.
Pass the Royal Jelly.

Neiman,
Agreed, but man-made global warming is the context of the post.

The next “global warming gas to go after by critera of warming should be methane. It’s 23 times stronger than CO2 and exists in higher amounts in the atmosphere. However, the downside to that is that cows continue to fart and it doesn’t look as good on the bumperstick of a hybrid to say: Save the planet, kill a cow

It should also be noted that Reagan lived out his environmentalism in his personal life by living in a home of about 1500 square feet, not a huge mansion like some other notable politicians.
