I don’t see how that could be.  This Rev. isn’t Obama’s personal spiritual leader and mentor.

The fact that this Rev. has an opinion that translates into a vote for Obama speaks more positively for Obama than it does Bush.

Somehow you got it in your head that this reflects highly on Bush?  Why is it that you get to make such wild speculations, but the more rational ones are overlooked?

Now maybe with that said you will understand why your comments about this story are essentially meaningless and why my comments match them?

A) He’s a Methodist, they don’t have priests. (Typical lame brained Hannitized assumption!) B) He’s the black minister who married Bush’s daughter and her new husband, not the man who married Bush’s daughter.

A) I cant read the story because I am not a member of that rag, so I couldn’t have known that information.

B) Who cares anyway?  This post is about as meaningful as tits on a boar.

I cant (sic) read the story because I am not a member of that rag

No, dipwad. It’s common knowledge among people remotely familiar with Christian denominations.

This post is about as meaningful as tits on a boar.

Which would make it orders of magnitude above the meaning you bring here!

Meaningless? You lie about other things, too!
If it’s truly meaningless, dipwad, don’t bother moving your sorry ass to the keyboard to comment!

I noticed he was a black guy when I saw pictures earlier.  I am actually surprised to hear he is an Obama supporter though…

It’s about controlling women…

Another tired leftie lie.  How do you explain the vast majority of women who both choose to give birth to their children and who oppose your mass slaughter of the unborn by irresponsible women?
Abortions don’t contribute to the structure of society; they damage it.  How do you like supporting the large abortion provider corporations that are making windfall profits from their death peddling and feeding off the taxpayers?

He isn’t going to get to vote for Barak Obama unless he decides to run as an independent or on the CWA ticket.

At the rate he is going he will not get the nomination.

From the linked article:

Mr. Caldwell, a longtime religious adviser to Mr. Bush, has endorsed Senator Barack Obama.

Well, this shows that one’s longtime religious adviser and the religious advisee can hold dissimilar views and still maintain a lasting relationship.

Rev. Wright anyone?

realitybasedbob - 06:05am on 05/12/2008

Rev. Wright anyone?

Not unless Caldwell hates “white America” and is preaching black liberation theology and “black Jesus”.

You’re just trying to sell your usual bullshit, rbb.
False equivalence.

Personal attack and namecalling; the last resort of the damaged egotist.

rbb: I called your phony equivalence into question, and you have no comeback in your own words; typical of you.
