There is obviously no connected made between raising taxes and ‘curing’ deficits.
Now you’re just lying; again, your words convict you.
If you know anything, you know that the Bush administration had to rebuild our military and intel capabilities after Clinton gutted them to claim his phony “surplus”, and also had to pay for another Clinton legacy, 9/11. Only a leftie would lie like that. Your words convict you, leftie.
His tax rate cuts kept the deficit lower than it would have been if he had continued the destructive tax policies of his predecessor.

robert108,
Only a leftie would lie like that.
Assuming that you know more about my words that I do about them is an answer to my short prayer: “O Lord make my enemies ridiculous.” And God granted it.

Your own words convict you, leftie.

Nunez said, My reference was to the Bush Administration who has lowered taxes and put us in VERY HEAVY deficits.
Did one cause the other? Demonstrate how if the answer is “yes”.
Congress sets the spending. Is Bush Congress?
Since Bush has lowered taxes and put us in heavy deficits...
There’s that assertion again. Did one cause the other? Demonstrate how if the answer is “yes”.
Spending more than one takes in causes deficits. Considering what happened to the federal tax rolls after the small tax cut was passed (it increased), your assertion is bunk.
The tax rate could be 100%, and we would still have deficits if the spending was beyond the take.
Does this even register with you?
...what is your explanation, since I assume you think lowering taxes cuts the deficits in all situation.
Why would you assume what robert108 thinks when all you have to do is read what he writes? He’s pretty damn clear that the out of control spending is causing the deficits. He even has proposed where the cuts in spending should start and how we can cut not only the deficit, but the debt.
Maybe you need a remedial reading comprehension class. Get up to speed and then maybe you can understand some of these simple concepts.
And Nunez? You’re a leftie. You advocate for bigger government, always advocate for higher taxes, and have an upside-down understanding of economics.

an answer to my short prayer:
Careful, Nunez! You start exhibiting religious tendencies or a belief in God and they’ll take away your ACLU card! Heh.

They didn’t cause the other. You assume I said, ‘Bush Administration who has lowered taxes WHICH CAUSED very heavy deficits,’ for instance if I said, “My reference was to the Nike Company who has lowered wages and makes red shoes. “ Nike lowering wages DOESNT imply in this statement that it caused them to make red shoes.
Since Bush has lowered taxes and put us in heavy deficits…
There’s that assertion again.
No. There’s your assumption again. If I said, “Since Bush mountain bikes and is an ineloquent speaker...” DOESN’T imply that mountain biking caused him to become an ineloquent speaker.
“and” DOESNT mean “caused” “means” “because”
“and” DOES NOT create a cause-effect or a complex-equivalence.
The rest of your post your simply arguing against a straw man.
Good day.

Haha.

Nunez wrongly asserts, You assume I said, ‘Bush Administration who has lowered taxes WHICH CAUSED very heavy deficits,’...
Not quite. Rather, the lower taxes and increased deficits were inferred to be connected because they were repeatedly grouped together as if they were connected.
No. There’s your assumption again.
Heh. Whatever.
Learn how to effectively communicate and we won’t have these kinds of problems. When one repeatedly groups together two disparate subjects, don’t be surprised when people “assume” that you’re trying to make a connection between the two.
The rest of your post your simply arguing against a straw man.
Really? Where?
That was an easy blowoff to make, yet you don’t explain. *shrugs*

Nunez again shows itself to be a typical leftie liar.
The association was intended; otherwise why mention it?
