I hope one of the speakers didn’t include the nut job Steve Cates, he set back the ideals of conservatism 50 years each time he comes up with yet another conspiracy theory about WSI. He is a joke (and I have interacted with Steve and feel comfortable stating this).

Uh, right. Steve Cates set back conservatism five decades by having an opinion about WSI.
Steve was there, handing out copies of his excellent magazine The Dakota Beacon (which I write for), and is certainly no nut.
And he was right about pretty much everything at WSI. It was a partisan hit-job set off by malcontents like Jim Long, who was canned after revelations of an affair with a subordinate (complete with favorable treatment like raises given to that employee) and accusations of racial discrimination.

I wish I could have met you Rob… We were sitting on the ground, to the left facing the steps/speakers’ stand, etc… There just didn’t seem to be enough time to run up there, but we sure heard you!!
Also, I truly enjoyed hearing Kevin Cramer’s speech….was really impressed.
