So Boob you’re admitting that he didn’t “take the initiative to CREATE the internet” as he claimed.
The internet was created by many people.
Now Gore’s to be given some credit for his work, but he certainly didn’t create it.

That’d be like some cooks assistant in the army claiming he beat the Germans. Yes he helped beat them, but didn’t do it by himself.
I think the guy deserves heaps of scorn for trying to take credit for it all by himself. If he didn’t mean to he should have issued a clarification as soon as possible.

Clinton also gave Gore a directive to implement improvements in or national airport security systems. Six months after they left office 911 happened. I’d say Gore put forth his usual effort.

By that 1st definition I would say it is safe to say that you could give the guy a break, considering we are now benefitting for things that he “did not do anything” to helped evolve that would have not by ordinary processes.
