The request for donations becomes less ironic when one considers that Planned Parenthood is best known for abortions, but it doesn’t only do abortions. It also provides sex ed, birth control and general reproductive health services. In some places, it is the ONLY provider of reproductive health services. Mothers need their checkups the same as other women.
