I saw the clips from Bush’s announcement and I didn’t hear any boos at all. In fact, a small clap came out when Bush commented upon sending prayers to clinton. It wasn’t a resounding applause, but it was there. If indeed there was a boo, it was by only a couple of people in the crowd.

Buck, do you have a link to the streaming audio where you heard the boos? Every one I’ve listened to doesn’t have the boos.

Buck might be right that he heard boos, however if there were indeed boos from the crowd, it would have been a complete fringe group that did this and not anywhere near even 5 percent of the crowd. As I stated earlier, I saw a clip of the part of Bush’s speech and do not recall anything relating to a boo unless clapping can now be considered booing.
