Reminds me of Communist China.
I won’t even dignify the offhand smears about accidents with a reply.  Certain people have no idea what is going on in Afghanistan, Iraq, the Horn of Africa, Colombia and 70+ other locations our military are deployed.  This post is about abortion, and more precisely, is a person justified in intentionally killing (murder) of another human being without a consequence.  Killing babies by drowning, throwing them off tall buildings, throwing them against walls and various other ways are examples of intentional killing.  Accidents on the highways, brakes failing, policemen’s bullets richocheting off walls and killing children are not.  Gangs who illegally discharge weapons and then kill children would or should be charged with at least second degree murder, but some don’t want to talk about that.

The lefties are always telling us who they are.

robert108 - 07:05am on 05/30/2006

this is the most disgusting thing I have ever thought or heard of it needs to be band omg when will some one just shoot bush?

You really do need to put some effort into your posts, Tiffany.  Punctuation counts unless you’re a pre-schooler.  The word is banned unless you mean it needs to be a violin or tuba.  And I’m sure the Secret Service will be interested in your last comment.

Get a grip.

Dhiane, how could I forget something so blatantly ridiculous?

Brooke on May 30, 2006 at 7:04 AM

I find the word ‘ridiculous’ inappropriate here.  It’s a graphic portrayal of how many innocent Iraqis have died.

You could swim in their blood.

And now we find that apparently the Marines have added another wading pool full of it in the most gruesome manner possible.

Are you proud of what our country has become?

I’m certainly not.

diane - 10:05am on 05/30/2006

Diane, ‘graphic portrayals’ are often ridiculous, and yours is no exception.

I am proud of our country; it is despite it’s faults the greatest on Earth.

If only we could get rid of dhimmi leftists and spineless Republicans.

Brooke - 11:05am on 05/30/2006

Is an “undesireable” person any less human after birth? Is someone with a mental disability more disposable than someone without?

***************

Fortunately, you cannot.

Graphic portrayals are the best way to get a point across to people who can’t get it any other way.

Happy swimming!  And pleasant dreams!

What happened in Haditha, Iraq?
Witnesses and others tell a consistent story as the Pentagon investigates

On Tuesday, for the first time, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki spoke about the Haditha case. He said that Iraqi and multinational forces must respect human rights and the rights of Iraqi citizens, and a family cannot be killed because someone is fighting terrorists

GET IT, BROOKE????

Witnesses say Marines search the area for the bomber. They storm a house directly across from the attack, shooting as they approach.

A video shot by a local journalism student purports to show the bloody aftermath of what happened. Inside are 77-year-old Abdul Hamid — blind and in a wheelchair — his 66-year-old wife and others: sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.

Local coroners’ reports obtained by NBC News say Abdul Hamid was shot in the stomach and head. The reports say his wife and five other relatives were also killed by multiple gunshot wounds.

Four inside the house survived, including 9-year-old Iman.

“The Americans came into the room where my father was praying and shot him. Then they went to my grandmother and killed her, too,” Iman says.

During the raid, Abdul Hamid’s house caught fire. Witnesses say Marines then moved next door to the house of Younis Hamid. Nine people were inside, and eight were killed — five of them children.

Twelve-year-old Safa says she survived by hiding under the bed.

“They came in and shot all of us,” she says. “I pretended I was dead.”

Witnesses say Marines then moves to a third location — a taxi parked by the side of the road. In it, residents say, were four university students and a driver. A witness watching from a nearby rooftop says Marines took the five men out of the car and executed them.

The driver screamed in English, “Please, please!” but they shot him in the body.

Other witnesses say two hours passed as more Marines and helicopters arrived to lock down the neighborhood.

Around 10:30 a.m., Marines stormed the house of Eid Ahmed, where they allegedly separate his four sons from the women and children — and killed the men.

Nine-year-old Khalid was in the house.

“This is my father!” he screams. “God will take my revenge!”

NBC News asked the U.S. military to comment on this report. So far, the U.S. military here in Iraq only said that it takes the allegations seriously but cannot comment on ongoing investigations.

Gee, Diane, I’s sure all of that is as untainted by your beloved media as the driven snow.

I will sleep well tonight, because I know that my country is inherently good.

If Haditha turns out to be a true, then those Marines will face charges, as they should.

But you’ve already got them tried, convicted and executed, and all because you hate our troops and President.

Where are you, Diane, when troops give out their own food rations to children? Where are you when the soldier’s wives scour yard sales for clothing and shoes so that our soldiers can hand them out to civilians? Where are you when schools are opened, and decades old power and sewage grids are rebuilt? Where are your words of praise when Iraqi police and military officers hug and thank our men and women in uniform for being there? Where are you when women, clad in the hijab are finally, finally able to vote, and send their daughters to school?

And Diane, where are your words of condemnation for the foriegn terrorists who blow up children and women all for the hopes of getting 72 virgins? Where are your words of condemnation for the cries of “Allah Akbar” when innocents are slaughtered? Where is your condemnation for the thugs who dare not put on a uniform and stand to be counted for anything?

What you don’t say, Diane, is louder and more vile than the bilge that you pound out on your keyboard.

Brooke - 03:05pm on 05/30/2006

And what you say is evidence of a programmed idiot American, Brooke.

Where are you when a sick Iraqi can’t get medical help because we’ve torn their country apart?  Where are you when they have to wait hours in gas lines in dangerous circumstances?
Where are you when their children are blown to bits by some U.S. soldier with F U Iraq written on the side of his bomb????

You’re probably at a Republican Woman’s Tea fundraising for the immoral war.

What a loser.
