This is an old, old tactic, reused because it works so well. I’ve seen four or five local news reports around the country over the years about Super Bowl tickets, etc.
Trouble with notifying the concert promoters—they’ll leak it, potentially endangering those operating the sting. I mean, Ozzy Ozbourne cannot be trusted to help arrest drug dealers, I would think.

This issue is one of the most absurd controversies I’ve seen in a very long time.
I can’t help but laugh...but then sadly shake my head in disbelief of the lack of cognitive rational!

In many cases these people that are outstanding warrents are scum bags, these are people that have committed crimes against society and have a debt to pay. Trust me no one should feel bad for these people that were picked up.
If anything I hope they sent the dogs through OZZY’s luggage and personal items to make sure he was carrying weed

I guess Ozzy has the right to be upset that his name was used to create the sting, but the old saying ‘if you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime” comes to mind. I doubt the department has excess funds in the budget to allow for an expensive hoax to sting people who failed to appear for jaywalking or parking violations, hopefully they took people off the streets that need to be, in which Ozzy shouldn’t care about his name being used...but then Ozzy as a role model??!?

I doubt the department has excess funds in the budget to allow for an expensive hoax to sting people who failed to appear for jaywalking or parking violations, hopefully they took people off the streets that need to be, in which Ozzy shouldn’t care about his name being used...but then Ozzy as a role model??!?
First off F#$K Ozzy the man is barely functional now from all of the drugs that he did during his youth. I don’t get why people are so upset, if one of you guys had been a victim of these peoples crimes you wouldn’t be screaming. The so in Fargo should be commended for their effort.
