This is all coordinated by mullahs, in mosques all over Bangladesh. This is spreading into eastern India, and they are dealing with it by killing militant mullahs and breaking up these organizations. Though India is having their own problems with Sikh and Hindu extremists. Here are a few sources for local news in that part of Asia,http://www.expressindia.com, greaterkashmir.com, hindustantimes.com” rel="nofollow">

Well that did not work, yet again. Here, the hard way. dailytimes.com.pk, expressindia.com, greaterkashmir.com, hindustantimes.com. Sorry, I still appearently can’t link direct.

This very much confirms the pattern that is seen, of a high preference for low technology by Alqaeda and its cohorts. This implies screening a larger profiled population, rather than imagining that controlling the most sophisticated explosives will be the higher value defense. America has over 100,000 illegal aliens from Mideastern countries running loose here. Since this sort of terrorist functions in groups rather than individually, finding and deporting most of these illegals would break up a vastly larger percentage of the groups.

I think this chaotic situation originates from the globalization of terrorists. In early 90s some 3000 of Bangladeshis went to Afganishtan to fight for the Talibans. When they went home they continued with their Jihadi ideology. Pakistan and the middle east , specially Saudi Arabia funded many Madrassas which preached their fundamentalist ideologies. These people were used by politicians for their own purpose. Now they are showing their real face.

There are lots of success stories of Bangladesh, which the mainstream media do not pick. Because there is no news like despair & accidents, deaths or disasters. Bangladesh’s success story is microcredit, infant immunization, subsidizing women education to uplift the gender gap in a poor country and above all 140 million peoples are being fed each day and no one dies of hunger in this poor country.

For everybody’s concern we should not let this country fail (which these terrorists are trying to do.)

I am confident Bangladesh will be able to get out of this mess.

I think this chaotic situation originates from the globalization of terrorists.

It originates from Islam. Islam has bloody borders everywhere. It is the religion of backwards 7th century animals who are afraid of reason, justice, and tolerance.

For everybody’s concern we should not let this country fail (which these terrorists are trying to do.)

Good luck. No one deserves to deal with these animals. If your country is smart and has balls, it will strike down hard against Muslims.

If your country is smart and has balls, it will strike down hard against Muslims.

Likwidshoe, the irony is that I am a born Muslim like 85% of Bangladeshis. I do not know anybody in my greater family or any Muslims I know who would do such a thing or endorse such heinous act anywhere in the world. These terrorists and their appologists are still a very small portion of the population. We are as much outraged and a victim like you of the militant version of Muslim that is imported from Middle Eastern countries & Afghanistan. So I think we should keep religion out of many things possible.

As forces like AlQaedas are carrying on with their atrocities in the Western Countries amidst tight security & billion dollar intelligence, it is unlikely that the internal security of this poor country will be able to make some impact. As I remember some Arab terrorists were apprehended couple of years ago on charges of planning terrorist activities but were released on Saudi Arabia’s pressure. The global efforts of cutting down the source of the terrorists however exclude these points.

So I hope you are pointing at the right direction.

Rezwan, first let me say welcome. All men speaking together brings us closer to the fulfillment of God’s Will. Our friend Likwidshoe means well, he is young and his emotions are strong on this matter. As for destroying terrorism, money and technology are not the weapons that will triumph. Your hand, and the hands of your brothers and sisters in Islam, guided by the true Word of God will bring victory. Cast down the false mullahs! Hunt out the worshippers of satan who twist God’s Word and destroy them. They deserve no mercy, other than swift death, for they are as animals. Many in the west do not understand that your nation is mainly Moslem. The press depicts it as Hindi, and the most that is shown are the tragedy of flood and famine that so often sweep over your land. They show not the good that happens there, choosing only the bad. Go with God, Brother. May He give you the strength and courage to triumph over the deathworshipping satanists.

Rezwan said, Likwidshoe, the irony is that I am a born Muslim like 85% of Bangladeshis.

Well that is too bad. Your religion is disgusting and your prophet was a goat humping child molester. Islam, both past and present is filled with rape, murder, genocide, fascistic dictatorships, clitoridectomy, molestation, terrorism, torture, slavery, beastiality, beheadings, and stonings.

“I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”
(Surah 8:12)

Great religion you’ve got there pal.

likwidshoe - 10:08am on 08/22/2005

Hey, Lik. Way to win friends and influence people.

2Hotel9 - 01:08pm on 08/22/2005

Likwidshoe,

Religion does not wear us but we wear religion. Its also a part of the culture people inherit. So it is wrong to consider other person on the basis of religion only.

I am not angry hearing your comments as I tried to see you as a person who is against those horrible words you mentioned.

You know something it is the people that matters. The people of one religion can be a saint like mother Teressa and can be a child molester on the other hand. The religious scripts can be a path to some who with rationalization contributes to world peace and on the other hand some misinterpret age-old religious texts to be jihadists and create anarchy all over the world.

We do the mistake in focusing on the religion rather than the people, culture and the political context. I will just give you one example: You say Mohammed was a child molester in todays context because he married a nine year old. You do not know the fact the child marriage existed in many civilizations. Even in India, child marriage was banned by law only in the mid twentieth century. You said those word because hatred has besieged you.

I think this can be translated into a broader perspective. These ignorance of other cultures, societies are resulting in poor communication with distant societies and countries of the world. So many US intiatives, although taken with good intent are translated as bad motives.

In this fast paced world one cannot survice with poor communication, which will only produce more confusions and chaos.

The humanity has followed religions for thousands of years! We prayed to God to make our life easier. We never went out and killed our next-door neighbour just because I pray twice a day and he prays four times day!

To me religions are like paths. They are not any different than the political paths laid down by the great philospohers such as socialism, capitalism, communism, etc. We follow different paths but with one ambition, which is to betterment of the society. We don’t go and kill people just because he is a leftish and I am a right-winger. These are paths...not identity!

Our problem is that we are making our religions identities rather than paths.

Peace.
