A nice parallel to the commentaries of Dinesh D’Souza, who came to our land to see where poor people were fat. Methinks everyone trying to tell us how bad the poor have it here ought to be reminded that our poor have more food & living space than the middle class in Europe. It’s a stretch to pretend it’s like “bring out your dead!” in plague-ridden England for our poor today.

It is a rare occasion that we meet a person who is content with their role and lot in life. As many thinkers have told us over the years, it is the nature of man to never be satisfied for long--be it living conditions, social situation, earnings, material goods, whatever. What a waste of time to survey people to find their state of mind about their lot in life. Since you asked....blah, blah, blah---whine, whine, whine....

Last night on CSPANI heard a speech that Dennis K. was giving basically promising a living wage for everyone. Translation : if I get elected or some with the same mind set/ilk as me; Is going to redistribute that wealth on the backs of the rich in the form of higher taxes and free giveaways for everyone…
I believe this is what these polls are trying to get at…

If you want more, produce more of what someone’s willing to pay for.
The government can’t help EVERYONE. Sure they can steal Peter to pay Paul, but as we’ve seen in every socialist/communist system once they try to help everyone they hurt everyone, badly.
