Luke 20:
45While all the people were listening, Jesus said to his disciples, 46"Beware of the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets. 47They devour widows’ houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. Such men will be punished most severely.”

Matthew 7:
15"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

Please do not mistake the Church of Christ with Rev. Wright’s UNITED Church of Christ. The two are about as far apart as Hindus and Quakers.

Gino-

Ron Paul?!? Ron Paul?!?

I’m sorry, you’re a bigger embarrassment to the community than Joe Pesci and Rick Pitino’s suits put together. Get your $hit together, man.

Eingang-

I said American of Italian descent, so that’s fongool you, too, if you desire my attention. Or va’a fare in culo, for your mad google skills. Either way, sit and spin.

1853 and the Crimean War, look it up.

And while you’re googling your intellectual plumage, it’s Colosseo, foro, San Petro, etc.; but please, have another breadstick and tell me all about Italy. I’m all ears.

I hear when you’re at Olive Garden, you’re family.

These comments are far removed from a very crucial point - that is, how can we Americans even CONSIDER electing someone who has clearly endorsed this grotesque and ignorant promoter of racism as our President???

I have noticed a sharp uptick of Obama-nation(s) on various conserv. blogs seeking with the sowing of faux outrage and scatter-shot recriminations to promote the dis-unity of those who would critcally, and w/logic review the “Obamanation” of those who shaped and molded the racial vision of B.O. and there-by divide those who would peel the warning bells, or even lamp the steeples with the aim of religating those Revere_d Sirs to ineffectiveness.

I like not the odor of that.

Hi, MartinM:  Um, I think your posts would be more informative and enjoyable if you used less convoluted language: sentence structure, grammar, syntax.

Thanks, pparets! grin Searching on your name here yields instances of illumination that cheer me—the mental nats haven’t taken over the world… yet ;-p

Actually if the comment is as “clear as mud” then I have achieved my desires. ;-} It is a comment, not on the subject at hand, but most of the posting following it.  I thought it might amuse while underlining the quality of those “you aint really a pizan” posts.  I also felt it was a classier method than screaming & pulling out the 3 remaining hairs on my head.

Despite the limitations of PDA’s interface, I carefully crafted that statement - parallelisms & all.

Though obtuse and overloaded with florals, I did make a valid point.  The libs are using paid operatives to muddy the blogs and sow dissent, mistrust, and anger amongst the flavors of conservatism.  We need to keep our arguments to the point.  This “you got to walk in my shoes to understand/comment on my actions” is the worst sort of gamesmanship because its only purpose is to shut down discussion.  I’ve never eaten a pound of cyanide hydrocl., but I know its a stupid thing to do…

Mankind’s intellect specifically allows each of us to put ourselves in “another’s shoes” mentally.  I realize this presupposes that one possesses said mental faculities originally.

I do really apologize and crave pardon of all those - such as Your August Self - who are actually adults and provide constructive crit.

MartinM:  In my view, you would be a welcome addition to the SAB. Please register!  Nothing to it…

...pulling out the 3 remaining hairs on my head…

Hahaha!  Good stuff!

Wing Chung:
Fongool.

*,

For the record, my family comes from Vittorio Veneto, in the Northeast of the Italian peninsula.

So I reserve the right to make jokes about my people the same way Crhis Rock uses the N-Word.

So back at you!

Wing Chun Geologist - 12:03pm on 03/27/2008

Not too many folks in the USA have roots from that region.

I smell B.S.

Regardless, does your “family” know you’re using a Chris Rock skit to justify denigrating your “people” to outsiders?

You’re either lying or a fool.

You’re either lying or a fool.

Yet more evidence that ass-terisk either isn’t a Christian, or at least, not a very good one!

Matthew 5:22
But I say to you, that whosoever is angry with his brother, shall be in danger of the judgement. And whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council. And whosoever shall say, Thou Fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Have a nice day, *!
